In honor of International Women's Day, the Financial Review has released its annual Rich Women List featuring the 75 richest women in Australia.

Among this year's list, there are two notable Greek Australians who have made the cut once again: Debbie Kepitis and Kayla Itsines.

Debbie Kepitis, a prominent figure in the manufacturing and property industry, secured the 50th spot on the list. With an estimated fortune of $320 million, Kepitis continues her family's legacy in the racing industry. She is the daughter of the well-known racehorse owner and breeder Bob Ingham and, alongside her husband Paul Kepitis, co-owns the renowned racing horse Winx.

Kayla Itsines, on the other hand, is a familiar name on the AFR Rich Lists. Ranked 67th, Itsines is valued at $165 million for her contributions in the technology industry. As the founder of the Bikini Body Training Company and co-founder of the fitness app Sweat, Itsines has established herself as a leading figure in the fitness world. Despite selling Sweat to iFit for $400 million in 2021, she remains the face of the app and its head trainer.

The Rich Women List reflects the significant growth in wealth among Australia's richest women, which increased by 30% over the past year. The 75 women listed collectively control a staggering $151.2 billion, a notable increase from the $116 billion recorded in the previous year. The valuations for the list were made in early March and are based on assumptions drawn from publicly available information.

The Rich Women List is led once again by iron ore magnate Gina Rinehart, with a $37.6 billion fortune. That is up slightly from $36.7 billion a year ago, reflecting a sideways movement for the price of the red metal over the previous 12 months; however, the magnate sees a more structural threat to prosperity.

Overall, the inclusion of Debbie Kepitis and Kayla Itsines on the prestigious Rich Women List highlights the success and influence of Greek Australians in various industries, demonstrating their significant contributions to the country's growing wealth especially on international women's Day.
