The announcement has rocked the MMA world, as it seems that for the first time, a Greek athlete will appear on the UFC reality show, 'The Ultimate Fighter.'

Just a few days ago, 'The Ultimate Fighter 32' was announced the Greek fighter is among the middleweights featured on the show.

That would be none other than Giannis Basar, who, it's worth noting, previously secured the 'Cage Warriors' title.

The Greek fighter will participate in the filming of the show, which is set to begin in the coming weeks. The show is scheduled to air next summer, specifically on June 4th.

This season, coaches will not be Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, as in the previous season. Instead, we will see two women in this role: Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko.

In addition to the middleweights, this season will also feature featherweights.

Apart from Basar, other middleweight participants announced include Omran Chaaban from Finland, Shamid Magomedov from Russia, and Paddy McCrory from Ireland. Additionally, Thomas Theocharis, a Canadian with Greek roots, will also be there.

Basar is making his dream come true and aims to enter the gates of the UFC with the ultimate goal of signing a contract there.
