Kyrgios' Wimbledon Commentary Role Draws Criticism in UK

Nick Kyrgios' return to tennis commentary at Wimbledon has drawn criticism in the United Kingdom from political figures and anti-domestic violence organizations.

After undergoing wrist surgery nine months ago, Kyrgios is still recovering for a full return to the court.

During his recovery and since his last competitive match on tour a year ago, the Canberra native has filled his off-court time with podcast appearances and commentary roles.

The BBC revealed this week that the 2022 grand slam finalist at the All England Club will take part in the UK national broadcaster's Wimbledon commentary crew.

After Kyrgios' generally well-received spell for Eurosport at the Australian Open in January, Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore hinted that "anything could happen" with him in the commentary booth.
