Wildfire Erupts in Mytika, Laconia

A wildfire broke out in the forested area of Mytika in Laconia today. Firefighting forces are actively working to contain the blaze.

The Fire Department reported that 43 firefighters, including two pedestrian units, 11 vehicles, and four firefighting aircraft, are deployed to combat the fire. Currently, the fire does not have an actively burning front.

Local volunteer groups and resources from local authorities are assisting the fire brigade crews in their efforts to control the wildfire.
