The exhibition, which is co-organised with the Ministry of Tourism, includes around 100 photographs from McCabe's "Greek era" that aim to highlight the authenticity, culture, history, beauty and people of everyday life in post-war Greece through the lens of the American artist.

"With their aesthetic quality and realism, Robert McCabe's photographs offer a unique, valuable and rare glimpse into post-war Greece. They record and immortalise the character, the look, and the expectations of a people emerging from the darkness of conflicts. They highlight the people, their daily life, the culture, the history, the beauty of our country," noted the Minister of Tourism, Mrs Olga Kefalogianni.

Entry to the exhibition, which will be open to the public until September 8, is free via the Museum's ticket offices.
