Turkish media claim that Film Heritage Inc., owned by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, bought the Vuni Palace Hotel and Casino in the Turkish-occupied area of Cyprus.

The OdaTV network claimed that 150 million pounds sterling was spent on purchasing the hotel and casino in occupied Kyrenia at the beginning of last month.

It should be noted that similar reports had been leaked to the media recently and turned out to be false.

Last January, it was reported that Zelensky bought buildings in Germany and France and that the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was vacationing in Paphos, where he allegedly purchased a hotel and a mansion.

In all cases, the reports turned out to be false.

The 1974 invasion of Cyprus by Turkey remains a major source of tension between the two countries. United Nations Security Council resolutions recognise the occupation of northern Cyprus as illegal.

Cyprus remains divided, with a northern portion controlled by a puppet Turkish Cypriot administration controlled by Ankara and a southern portion governed by the Republic of Cyprus, an internationally recognised state.
