Greece has secured its first-ever gold medal in a team free artistic swimming competition, triumphing at the European Aquatic Championships in Belgrade. The national team delivered a stunning performance in the final, achieving a remarkable score of 270.1980. This resounding victory saw them finish over 15.5 points ahead of second-place Italy (254.7354), with the UK and Turkey rounding out the competition.
This historic win marks a significant milestone for Greek artistic swimming. Prior to this, the team had earned five silver and six bronze medals in the European Championships.
