MELISSES Win Big at Mad VMA 2024, but Lead Singer Absent

The MELISSES appeared at the Mad VMA 2024 without Christos Mastoras, leaving many wondering what had happened and why the band's lead singer was absent from the big music event. It is worth noting that MELISSES this year won the award for Video of the Year with their hit "30 - 40."

When Andreas Georgiou announced the winner, Kostas Mavrogenis and Thanos Laitsas took the stage. The former revealed what had happened and that Christos Mastoras was not with them.

As he explained, due to the filming of the movie about Stelios Kazantzidis, "I Exist", where Christos Mastoras is portraying the legendary folk artist, he was unable to attend the awards ceremony.
