Amsterdam/Athens – KLM, the Dutch branch of Air France, has canceled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until at least October 26th, citing escalating tensions in the Middle East. This decision follows similar announcements by major airlines including Lufthansa, Delta, and United in recent days.

Greek media outlets are reporting that Aegean Airlines has also halted flights to and from Israel.

These cancellations come despite assurances from a senior Israeli aviation official who, yesterday, asserted that the country’s airspace remained secure. The official emphasized that Israeli authorities would proactively close the airspace if the situation demanded such action.
