Kimberly Guilfoyle Honored by Greek American Leaders

Washington, D.C. – On January 19, 2025, Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. Ambassador to Greece-designate, attended a prestigious reception at the St. Regis in Washington, D.C. The event was organized to honor the Greek American community and was marked by a significant gesture of cultural appreciation.

During the reception, Guilfoyle expressed her deep admiration for the Greek American community, highlighting their unwavering values of faith, family, and heritage. "I love the community, I love the country," she stated, describing her forthcoming role as Ambassador as "a blessing of a lifetime."

In a symbolic act of welcome, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, the leader of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, presented Guilfoyle with a beautiful icon. This gift represented the strong cultural and spiritual connections between Greece and the United States.

The event, held in recognition of the 60th Presidential Inauguration, saw the gathering of several prominent Greek American leaders. The evening's program was skillfully directed by Masters of Ceremonies Archon Michael Psaros, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of KPS Capital Partners, LP, and Mike Manatos, President of Manatos & Manatos.
