An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 Richter was recently recorded off the coast of Patras, as reported by the Geodynamic Institute. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 8 kilometers west of the city. The initial automatic assessment had indicated a magnitude of 3.9 Richter.
