Giannis Antetokounmpo may favor Los Angeles, New York, or Miami if he leaves the Milwaukee Bucks, according to NBA insider Howard Beck.
Following the Bucks’ third straight first-round playoff exit, questions loom about the team’s future and Antetokounmpo’s commitment. The two-time MVP, who averaged 30.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists over 72 games this season, could be considering a move.
Beck, speaking on The Zach Lowe Show, noted that Giannis is likely to prioritize big or glamour markets like LA, New York, Miami, or possibly Chicago. “It’s already just the big cities,” Beck said, adding that Houston might also be in the mix.
While no decision is confirmed, losing Antetokounmpo, a franchise cornerstone in his prime, would be a massive setback for Milwaukee.
