Attica Property Owners Shoulder 53% of Greece’s ENFIA Tax Burden

According to the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), Greece’s real estate has an objective value of €777.8 billion, while its commercial value now surpasses €1.1 trillion.

Zone rates were last updated in January 2022, but commercial prices have since risen by an average of 30%, with larger increases in certain urban and tourist areas.

AADE data shows that the total Single Property Tax (ENFIA) for individuals and businesses in 2025 amounts to €2.3 billion. Attica, home to roughly a third of Greece’s property owners, bears 53% of this tax burden.
