ATHENS, Greece – Greek-American television presenter Maria Menounos recently enjoyed a memorable trip to Greece with her daughter, Athena. The visit to Athens combined work and leisure, as Menounos was in town to collaborate with the Hellenic Olympic Committee. She has been named the Ambassador for the Hellenic Olympic Committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

On Sunday, May 18, Menounos took to social media to share a series of new photos from their Greek getaway, showcasing moments under the sun, by the sea, and at iconic landmarks like the Parthenon.
“When I’m in Greece, I feel at home,” Menounos said, reflecting on her deep connection to her heritage.
In her post, she expressed excitement about immersing Athena in the Greek language, noting that her daughter is learning Spanish, English, and Greek simultaneously. “Athena and I had an amazing trip to Greece. I love working vacations. I was so excited to immerse Athena in our language—and it worked! I’m literally learning from her!” Menounos wrote. She also extended gratitude to her friend Chrysoula for dedicating time to teach Athena, promising more photos from their trip soon.

Menounos’ visit underscores her commitment to her cultural roots and her role in promoting Greece on the global stage. Her fans eagerly await more glimpses of her journey.
