Brighton & Hove Albion have tabled a €40 million bid for Olympiacos’ 18-year-old forward Charalampos Kostoulas, one of Europe’s brightest young prospects.
Kostoulas shone this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in the Greek Super League and Europa League. He also netted five goals in eight UEFA Youth League matches, helping Olympiacos win the competition. Despite a muscle injury cutting his season short, he played a key role in Olympiacos reclaiming the Greek title.
Brighton’s earlier offer of €35 million plus Abdallah Sima was rejected, with Olympiacos preferring a cash-only deal including a sell-on clause. The total package could reach €46.5 million, with negotiations ongoing.
Kostoulas, contracted until 2030, has scored five goals in 15 appearances for Greece’s youth national teams. While Chelsea have shown interest, no formal bid has been reported. Brighton remain optimistic about finalizing the transfer.
