Air India Boeing 787-8 Returns to Hong Kong After Mid-Air Technical

Air India flight AI315, a Boeing 787-8 (registration VT-NAC) en route to New Delhi, returned to Hong Kong after the pilot reported a technical issue mid-flight.

The flight departed Hong Kong at 12:17 HKT from runway 25C, climbing to 22,000 feet before the crew decided to turn back due to the suspected issue, according to airport sources. The aircraft landed safely on runway 25R approximately one hour after takeoff.

All passengers disembarked safely, and the Dreamliner is now undergoing a thorough inspection.
