Greek Police arrest 17-Year-Old Bulgarian national for assault in Thessaloniki

Greek police have arrested a 17-year-old Bulgarian national in Thessaloniki for allegedly assaulting a peer following a personal dispute. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the Polichni district.

The victim reported being punched and kicked during the altercation. After the attack, he sought medical treatment at a local hospital.

Following a 24-hour manhunt, police apprehended the suspect. Authorities have filed charges against him for causing bodily harm to a vulnerable individual.

In a related development, officers also handcuffed the suspect’s 48-year-old mother for failure to supervise a minor.

The case remains under investigation as local authorities examine the circumstances surrounding the assault.
