Brisbane Roar are thrilled to announce the loan signing of 19-year-old centre-back Dimitri Valkanis from Greek Super League powerhouse AEK Athens FC for the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Valkanis, a Young Socceroo, attracted interest from multiple A-League clubs, but Brisbane Roar secured his signature. The talented defender has played for AEK’s Under-17, Under-19, and ‘B’ (reserve) teams, featuring in every match for the ‘B’ team during the 2024/25 season while regularly training with the senior squad.
