Gaza Flotilla Update: Organizers Reject Israel’s Proposals for Aid Delivery

Jerusalem, September 26, 2025 — Eden Bar-Tal, Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported that Israel received a proposal from the Italian government to offload humanitarian aid from a Gaza-bound flotilla at a port in Cyprus for subsequent transfer to the Gaza Strip. The flotilla organizers rejected this proposal.

Additionally, Israel offered the flotilla participants the option to dock at Ashkelon marina or a port in a neighboring country to unload the aid for delivery to Gaza. This alternative was also declined by the organizers.

Further developments are awaited as negotiations continue.
