The Greek diaspora in Astoria, New York, experienced a night filled with emotion, music, and a taste of Greece as Antonis Remos delivered a spectacular performance at the historic Melrose Ballroom. Among the notable attendees were George Tsounis, former U.S. Ambassador to Greece, and Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, who honored the event with their presence.
The audience enthusiastically applauded the beloved artist, with exclusive videos and photos capturing the vibrant atmosphere and deep emotions of the Greek community.
Visibly moved, Remos greeted the crowd, saying: “Good evening, welcome, good evening! It’s been many years since we last came here. It’s a great joy because here at Melrose, it feels like a piece of Greece, a piece of our homeland. It’s the only place that truly reminds us of the entertainment scene in Greece. Concerts and big venues are great, but only Melrose captures a bit of Greece. Let’s give a round of applause for Vasilis, Toni, and Jimmy—this is for you. This is our last night, and we thank you so much. Let’s make this a magical evening because life is made of moments. Let’s go, we’re all together tonight. Welcome to Greece. This isn’t America—tonight, we are Greece!”

The evening concluded with the crowd singing along to beloved hits, transforming the Melrose Ballroom into a little corner of Greece in the heart of New York.
