U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle joined French and British counterparts in Athens for two solemn ceremonies commemorating Armistice Day on November 11. The events honored the anniversary of the end of the First World War and paid tribute to those who served and sacrificed their lives.
Ambassador Guilfoyle, together with her allied counterparts, laid wreaths in remembrance of the fallen, including more than 100,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the conflict.
