Taybeh, West Bank – 9 December 2025 – Masked Israeli settlers torched two cars and sprayed racist graffiti in the Christian-majority village of Taybeh near Ramallah early on 5 December, just hours before the village’s annual Christmas market.
Residents repelled the attackers, who fled toward nearby settlements. No injuries were reported.

Taybeh, home to 1,500 Greek Orthodox, Melkite, and Latin Christians, is one of the last fully Christian villages in the West Bank. This was the sixth settler attack on the community in recent months.
Human rights groups and church leaders condemned the incident as part of a sharp rise in settler violence, with over 1,200 attacks recorded across the West Bank in 2025 alone. Israeli authorities have made no arrests.
