I will not get vaccinated unless it becomes mandatory: STEFANOS TSITSIPAS

Greek tennis superstar Stefanos Tsitsipas responded to media questions about the issue of vaccination surprising many with his explanation.

Tsitsipas who rose to No. 3 in the FedEx ATP Rankings last week, admitted that he had not been vaccinated nor will consider taking the jab unless it becomes mandatory.

"No one has told me anything. No one has made it a mandatory thing to be vaccinated, I am sure that at some point I will be vaccinated, but until it becomes mandatory, I am not going to do it," said Tsitsipas.

While the men's ATP Tour has publicly encouraged all players to get vaccinated Tsitsipas is among the few that have reservations about getting the jab.
