The audition topping the most viewed list on Youtube for Greece's Next Top Model (GNTM) has a familiar female lead.
GNTM kicked off this week with several new aspiring models stepping in front of the judging panel, which this year consisting of four new members - Vicky Kaya, who returned to her position, but also Yiorgos Karavas (promoted from coach to judge), Anastasios Sofroniou and Sophia Hadjipanteli.
The concept of the renewed GNTM this season wants only girls to compete in order to be named the country's top model for 2022 in December. The first auditions were interesting, as among others we saw a 79-year-old contestant get four "yeses" to advance to the next phase.
Her audition became viral, however, in no way did it come close to the views recorded by Anna-Maria Iliadou from GNTM 2 in September 2009. The audition of the then 18-year-old Anna-Maria is to date the most successful - in terms of views – as it counts more than 1.7 million views on YouTube.
The later winner of the show (along with Katia Tarabanko) managed to impress the judges (Vicky Kaya, Angelo Bratis, Iliana Papageorgiouand Dimitris Skoulos) by entering the room and starting to walk. She did everything right from start to finish and got four yeses in a flash.
As it turned out, Anna-Maria went all the way to the GNTM title. What is now surprising is that in second place with the most viewed auditions is that of Aliona Abramova with 1.6 million views, which, despite being eliminated, went down in history for her phrase "I've done a thousand and one shits".
Finally, in third place on the list with more than 1.5 million views is the audition of the winner (together with Anna-Maria) of GNTM 2, Katia Tarabanko.
