For centuries, the location of the Ark of the Covenant, believed by some to contain the Ten Commandments, has been shrouded in mystery. New revelations from declassified CIA files allege that the long-lost artifact has been found.
Biblical texts describe the Ark of the Covenant as a sacred chest built by the Israelites shortly after their exodus from Egypt in the 13th century BC, under the instructions of Moses, who placed the Ten Commandments within it. Historic accounts suggest that it was housed in the Temple of Jerusalem’s innermost sanctum until it vanished following the Babylonian conquest of the city in 586 BC. Various theories have since emerged, including one claiming the Ark was taken to Ethiopia, where it allegedly resides in a local church.

The CIA’s Project Sun Streak, initiated in the 1970s and 1980s, sought to employ individuals with purported psychic abilities to locate distant targets using only geographical coordinates. According to the declassified document from this program, Remote Viewer No. 032 identified the Ark’s location as somewhere in the Middle East during a December 1988 session. Without prior knowledge of their target, the psychic described a container made of wood, gold, and silver, adorned with images of six-winged angels, that was hidden underground in a damp and dark space.
The remote viewer suggested that the site, populated by Arabic-speaking individuals, featured structures reminiscent of mosque domes. They also perceived the presence of “entities” safeguarding the Ark, warning of destruction for those attempting unauthorized access to the site. The Ark is said to serve as a unifying force with spiritual and ceremonial significance, laden with historical knowledge beyond present understanding.
This intriguing report is linked to recent discussions on the Ninjas are Butterflies podcast—highlighting growing public interest in the enigmatic Project Sun Streak and its connections to historic and mysterious phenomena.
Though not providing concrete evidence of the Ark’s existence or location, these claims have added a curious dimension to the enduring mystery, fueling debates among historians, archaeologists, and conspiracy theorists alike. Despite various claims and legends, the true whereabouts of the Ark of the Covenant remain an unsolved puzzle in the annals of history.
