The owner of Plato’s Greek Chargrill in Walkerville, Adelaide, was hospitalized with burns after a fire broke out during lunch preparations. Steve Ploubidis, former head of the South Australian Jockey Club, was cooking when the blaze erupted, causing extensive damage to the restaurant. Inspectors from the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry have declared 78 homes in East Attica uninhabitable following recent fires.
