Anthimos, born Dionysios Roussas, the former Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, has passed away at 91. From his early education at the University of Athens to his long service in the Greek Orthodox Church, including his tenure at the Church of St. Basil and the Metropolis of Alexandroupolis, he dedicated his life to faith and scholarship until resigning in 2023 due to health issues.
