A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Thursday morning in central Athens. The incident occurred on Satovriandou Street, where the driver of a car struck and dragged the victim before fleeing the scene. Despite efforts to save the pedestrian, they were pronounced dead at the hospital. Greek police are reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the driver, who remains at large.
