Three Minor Earthquakes Hit Southern Crete

On Wednesday, the southern coast of Crete was hit by a series of light earthquakes, including a magnitude 4.5 tremor. The quakes, occurring in quick succession with magnitudes of 4.1 and 4.8, were centered in the sea south of Kali Limenes. The Athens National Observatory reported that the tremors, which had shallow depths, were widely felt along the southern coast but caused no reported damage.
