Finally, an 81-year-old man was pulled unconscious from the sea area of ​​"KAMARIOU" beach, Thiras. He was taken by ambulance to the General Hospital of Thira, where he was pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation is carried out by the Port Authority of Thira.

It is worth noting that on Friday, a serious accident involving a 56-year-old foreigner with a jet ski was also reported in the sea area of ​​Kastos in Lefkada.

According to Proto Thema, a 56-year-old man was on board a yacht and had gone for a ride on a jet ski. Under unknown circumstances so far he fell into the sea and hit his neck.

Greek patrol vessel immediately went to the area. to provide assistance, while the 56-year-old was transported by an auxiliary boat (TENDER) of the private pleasure boat he was on, to the port of Mytika, Etoloakarnania.
