Attilio Brillembourg, the stepfather of 43-year-old Princess Tatiana, a member of the non-reigning Greek royal family, disappeared from Malibu on Saturday, police said.

Authorities in Malibu, California, have reported the disappearance of Attilio Brillembourg, a 53-year-old New York resident with ties to European royalty.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Brillembourg was last seen around 1:10 a.m. on Saturday in the 6000 block of Murphy Way in Malibu. The department has raised concerns for his well-being.

Brillembourg is known as the stepfather of Princess Tatiana, 43, a member of the non-reigning Greek royal family and the Danish royal family. Princess Tatiana is married to Prince Nikolaos, the son of Constantine II, who reigned as king of Greece until the country’s monarchy was abolished in 1973.

The couple announced their separation last month after 14 years of marriage, as confirmed by the Greek royal family.

At the time of his disappearance, Brillembourg was described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with grey hair, green eyes, and a tattoo on an upper thigh. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, grey pants, and no shoes.

As of Monday afternoon, there have been no updates on the investigation. The sheriff's department urges anyone with information about Brillembourg's whereabouts to contact its Missing Persons Detail or to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
