According to a former Skopje Minister, the final decision regarding FYROM’s name will be made in an upcoming telephone conversation between Greek PM Alexis Tsipras and his FYROM counterpart Zoran Zaev.

CNN Greece claims Skopje’s former Minister Antonio Milosovski, announced that the two sides have reached an agreement and all that remains is to decide whether the country's new name will be "Northern Macedonia" or "New Macedonia".

According to Milosovski's Facebook post, which is accompanied by photographs of the two Prime Ministers, Milosovski says "Yesterday in Athens, with the participation of three diplomats from the Foreign Ministry, an agreement was reached on changing the name with all the details and the revision of the Constitution . Now, we expect the consultants of the two countries to organise a telephone conversation between Zoran Zaev and Alexis Tsipras.”
