The Kokkalis Foundation on Sunday sadly announced the unexpected death of Sokratis Kokkalis Junior, son of Greek tech billionaire Sokratis Kokkalis, at the age of just 34 years old.
“With deepest sorrow, the Kokkalis family announces the sudden death of Sokratis S. Kokkalis, aged 34, during a business trip to Cleveland in the United States on Saturday, 14 July 2018,” the announcement said.
The 34-year-old was found dead in his hotel room and reports claim he suffered from a heart attack.
Sokratis Jr was born in Milan in 1984 and studied in Boston. He was one of the vice presidents of Greek football club Olympiacos and was on the board of directors of Intralot, a multinational technology company.
His father, Sokratis Sr, is a Greek billionaire. He is owner and chairman of Intralot and the
Owner of Intracom Holdings.
He was the son of Sokratis Kokkalis from his marriage with Eleni Kokkali.
