Greece to host Davis Cup in Athens in September

Stefanos Tsitsipas will make his Davis Cup debut in September, when Greece will host the Europe Group III event in Athens.

Tsitsipas will be joined on the Greek team by his younger brother, Petros, as well as Markos Kalovelonis and Michail Pervolarakis.

The event will be held on outdoor clay courts at the Tatoi Club in Athens, from September 11-14. This venue also hosted last year’s Fed Cup Europe/Africa Group II event. The other countries competing in Athens will include Estonia, FYROM, Latvia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, and Poland. Greece will be looking to gain promotion to Group II for the first time since 2014.
