Athens will have extended shopping hours for the Easter period, which will start on Thursday, April 18, announced the President of Athens Trade Association Stavros Kafounis on Wednesday.
“We hope that the start of the extended shopping hours of the shops in Athens to become an opportunity to reverse the disastrous climate of the first catastrophic trimestre for the market and to allow the consumers to enjoy their shopping”.
The shopping hours for the Easter period are:
Thursday 18 and Friday 19 April from 09:00 to 21:00
Saturday 20 April from 09:00 to 18:00
Sunday 21 April from 11:00 to 18:00
Monday 22 to Thursday 25 from 09:00 to 21:00
Friday (Holy Friday) 13:00-19:00
Saturday (Holy Saturday) 09:00-15:00
Sunday (Easter) and Monday the shops will remain closed.
