Greece’s President Prokopios Pavlopoulos has travelled to Lebanon on a two-day official visit, at the invitation of the President of Lebanon Michel Aoun.

According to the schedule, the Greek President had a private meeting with the President of Lebanon on Thursday April 11, at 11.50am, followed by joint statements to the media. Afterwards he will be attending an official dinner held in his honour.

He will also will meet with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and then lay a wreath at the Martyrs' Monument. In the afternoon, the President of the Republic will visit the frigate "Nikiforos Fokas".

On the second day of his visit to Lebanon on Friday, April 12, Pavlopoulos will go to the community of Balaam, where he will meet with the Patriarch of Antioch, John I.
