Greece's Tsitsipas beats world number one Djokovic to reach Shanghai Masters semis

Greece’s tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has stunned world number 1 Novak Djokovic with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 win at the Shanghai Masters. Tsitsipas has beaten the best player in the world to reach the Shanghai Masters semi-finals, as well as qualifying for the ATP Tour finals.

The 21-year-old produced some of his best tennis in the tournament so far as he battled the past defending champion.

Except for his first service game, Tsitsipas was in top form throughout the entire match and put Djokovic under intense pressure.

While the world number one managed to hold on to the one break to take the first set, Tsitsipas then gained confidence and showed what he is capable of in the next two sets to down Djokovic.
