The 13th London Greek Film Festival is bringing the cinema to movie fans during the coronavirus pandemic with its new online scheme which is currently taking place until May 25.
London Greek Film Festival, as always, independent, alternative, progressive and creative as ever, is moving forward to change also its philosophy and the way that the festival will take place in the future.
Films and Screenplays part of London Greek Film Festival were accepted from:
- Greek Origin Individuals and Production Companies from all over the world (Greek Diaspora & Greek-Cypriots included), with no specific subject in their work
- International Individuals and Production Companies from all over the world, with film or screenplay related to Greece (i.e. subject, myths, history or filming in Greece).
17-20 May: presentation of all kind of short films.
21-23 May: presentation of documentaries.
23-24 May: presentation of fiction feature films.
25 May: presentation of acceptance video of the awarded works, or texts, videos from our supporters etc.
It must be noted that the competition is still active (including semi-finalists and finalists), for the members of the Greek Film Lovers Club. The members of the club supporting the festival can vote for their favourite film or screenplay until the 24th of May. The Greek Film Lovers Club Awards will be announced on the 25th of May.
