There’s nothing like being at one with nature when for a ‘short’ period of time, the world was in lockdown.
If you like the idea of camping, but you don’t like the idea of giving up the homely comfort, then glamping is perfect for you. Glamping is great for the whole family or for a couple’s getaway.
The ‘Canvas lodge hidden between trees’ in Poros, is ready to welcome those who want to explore nature while maintaining creature comforts.
The ‘hideout’ is located in Agia Sotira (Poros) on an organic olive-citrus orchard, with private access to a natural beach.
Hidden among the olive trees, the accommodation has a double bed and two single beds. It also has an outdoor kitchen, a terrace with a sofa and a pergola of vines where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
“To get more close to Greek nature then this to Greek is not possible… surrounded by the sounds of the crickets and sea,” the post on Airbnb says.
Glamping may appeal to those who are looking to vacation but still want to safely maintain social health guidelines.
Those who stayed at the ‘tent’ left positive comments about their wonderful experiences.
“Wonderful place to unplug from the world and just enjoy nature ~ the orchards, the sun, the water, and playful cats. Beautiful walk to Galatas from shoreside and clean pool to take a dip in. We enjoyed the bbq and also were touched by the sweet gifts of homemade jam left by Katerina and Rik for us. Must-stay!” one guest wrote.
“Very nice place in an olive and lemon trees field! Kind of Greek “Out of Africa” (…) Furthermore, they have good friends who love their country and can drive you around if you want to visit and discover History,” another traveller posted.
