Heavy rain over the past few hours has left behind flooded roads and severe damage in some areas in Kefalonia and Corfu.
The flooded roads in Argostoli, Kefalonia, were reminiscent of Venice streets.

Heavy rain in Corfu has also caused problems in the area of Spilia.
According to local news, emergency services are working to pump out water from homes and stores in the Saroko, Sidari and Pyrgi.

According to meteorologists the bad weather is expected to be short, and will subside on Tuesday.
It is recalled last month “Medicane Ianos” severely hit the Ioanian island of Kefalonia, leaving behind extensive damage.
