A number of Greek-Americans have been elected (or re-elected) in the hotly-contested 2020 elections. The results are as follows:
US Congress
Republican candidate and proud Greek American Nicole Malliotakis claimed victory in the race for New York’s 11th congressional district.
“I entered this race with eyes wide open knowing that victory wouldn’t come easy. But, from the start I knew this race was never about me,” Malliotakis said, adding “this race was always about you, the hardworking New Yorker who obeys the law, pays their taxes and gets up every morning and goes to work.”

Dina Titus
In Nevada’s 1st Congressional District (which includes the city of Las Vegas), Democrat Dina Titus won by a wide margin over her Republican opponent, Joyce Bentley.
People who voted according to their local rules will have their ballots counted because that is what the law requires. It is also what our democracy demands.
