Sky Express.

SKY Express, or legally known as Cretan Aeronautical Exploitations, received its first Airbus A320-200N on November 6 and plans to commence operations with it on December 14, 2020.

The Airbus plane has yet to be ferried from Hamburg  to Greece.

The aircraft is being leased from Aviation Capital Group.

SKY Express plans to get a second unit of the X-TEC (msn 9566), also on lease from Aviation Capital Group, in December 2020.

This will be followed by another two in February 2021.

In October, the airline said it planned to add a total of six A320neo directly from the manufacturer.

The Cretan carrier will launch scheduled flights on the A320neo on December 14 on the domestic route between Athens and Thessaloniki, initially 5 times daily.

It plans to add daily services from Athens to Heraklion on December 18.

The Airbus aircraft will be SKY Express's first narrowbodies. The carrier also operates seven ATR42-500s and five ATR72-500s.
