This winter help spread the warmth.
The Hellenic Initiative Australia has launched an online Winter Appeal to support people in Greece facing severe hardship over the coming months.
Funds raised will assist trusted partner charities in Greece, which face additional challenges supporting the vulnerable and the destitute during the pandemic.
“It is heartening to know that this Christmas, THI Australia will have made a real difference to many people in need of critical services provided by our trusted partner charities in Greece,” said THI Australia President, Nicholas Pappas AM.
It is not too late to consider a donation - small or large, any amount will make a real difference.
The Winter Appeal for Greece will help provide basic necessities to people at risk this winter:
- $50 can go towards survival kits & sleeping bags
- $100 can go towards care packages & food vouchers
- $250 can go towards access to psychological support
- $500 can go towards temporary accommodation, SIM cards & help with utility bills
Greece is currently going through its second wave.
