Greek-Albanian relations were the focus of a meeting today between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama.

Mitsotakis hosted a luncheon in honor of Rama who paid an official visit to Greece on Friday afternoon.
The lunch was also attended by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, as well as the director of the Prime Minister’s diplomatic office, Ambassador Eleni Sourouni.

According to government sources, a comprehensive review of bilateral relations was made, while the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the steady improvement of bilateral relations.
At the same time, the focus was on the developments in the Balkans and on the European perspective of West Balkan countries.
The Prime Ministers also discussed at length the developments with the COVID-19 pandemic and the ways to deal with it.
