Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis is in a precautionary quarantine after being informed he was exposed to COVID-19 during his recent trip to Italy.
“After my return from Italy, I was informed that I had come in contact with a confirmed Covid case,” he said on Twitter.
“I am therefore under house quarantine,” he continued, adding “All activities in Greece and the EU will be done this week via video conferencing.”
“We remain safe, we observe the measures,” he concluded.
