Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.9 just reported 43 km southwest of Florina, Greece

A magnitude 4.9 earthquake near Florina, West Macedonia, Greece, was reported only 8 minutes ago by the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Greece. The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of 5 km beneath the epicenter after midnight on Wednesday 12 May 2021 at 12:31 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicentre and depth of the quake might be revised.
