When will Greece have less than 1,000 COVID-19 cases a day?

Professor Demosthenes Sarigiannis believes that after the middle of June, Greece should have less than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases a day.

In fact, he underlined that “I do not want to worry anyone”, but since yesterday “we saw in the rolling weekly average a stabilization, while until yesterday it was a clear fall”.

“I hope it is a small variation and does not mean anything,” he said, adding: “I am worried about the fact that it happens in both Attica and Thessaloniki.”

“There is dispersion in different areas, there seems to be fluctuations, not a downward trend,” the professor continued.

Greece had 907 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, with the majority of them detected in Attica.
