Greece’s Prime Minister congratulated Israel’s newly elected Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on assuming his duties, wished him good luck, and invited him to visit Athens at his earliest convenience. during a telephone conversation on Tuesday evening.
During their conversation both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral and trilateral cooperation , including Cyprus, and acknowledged the strategic nature of relations between the two countries.
According to government sources both men underlined the mutual will to strengthen cooperation, referring to important steps already taken in critical sectors, such as in energy, defense and technology.
