Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Vlasis, in the framework of his responsibilities for Religious and Ecclesiastical Affairs, will go to Lebanon on July 22 to meet with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioch, Mr. John I, at the Patriarchal Monastery in Balamand.
In addition, the Deputy Foreign Minister will hold a meeting with His Eminence the Metropolitan of Beirut Mr. Elias.
His program includes meetings with expatriate, academic and business organisations.
Finally, Vlasis will visit the University of Balamand, the Theological School of Agios Ioannis of Damascus, the Cathedral of Agios Georgios in Beirut, as well as the Orthodox Hospital of Agios Georgios.
