Two-month-old baby intubated with COVID-19 in Patras

A two-month-old baby has been intubated in Patras due to complications caused by COVID-19.

According Tempo24, a baby was transferred yesterday to the Children's ICU of the Rio hospital where he was intubated.

ICU doctors have been fighting for the last few hours to stabilise his condition.

Meanwhile, the numbers of COVID-19 hospitalisations are hitting "red".

A total of 169 people are infected with the virus and are in the two hospitals of Patras.

At PGNP, 92 people are in single beds, two children in Pediatrics and 12 in the ICU.

At the hospital "Ag. Andreas”, 54 are in COVID-19 beds and nine patients are in the ICU.
